Refund / Cancellation Policy
Written to match the three distinct refund situations. Because our guides are downloadable digital files, "return the product" is not possible — so this policy sets out precisely when a refund is and is not available.
1. What you are buying. Each guide is a downloadable digital file, delivered immediately. Once downloaded it cannot be "returned" — you keep the file. This policy explains the limited circumstances in which a refund is available despite that.
2. Change-of-mind (no refund once downloaded). You normally have a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase for any reason. Because a guide is digital content delivered immediately, that right stops applying once the download has started, but only where you were asked at the point of purchase to consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that the right is lost, and you gave that consent (Terms of Sale §7; permitted by CCR 2013 reg.37(1)). Accordingly, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, buyer's remorse, or "I didn't need it after all" once the download has started.
3. Faulty or not-as-described (statutory right — always honoured). Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 cannot be waived. If a guide is faulty (e.g. the file is corrupt or will not open), materially not as described, or was never made accessible to you, you are entitled to a remedy — we will first try to fix or re-supply it, and if that is not possible you are entitled to a refund. We may ask for reasonable evidence (e.g. the error you see, your order reference). This applies only to a genuinely defective or misdescribed product, not to a working guide you have changed your mind about.
4. Goodwill. Beyond 2 and 3, any further refund is at our discretion and is not an admission that one is owed. To ask, email hello@blueprintground.com with your order details and we will reply within 2 working days.
5. How refunds are issued. Where a refund is granted it is made to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy.
6. Platform (merchant-of-record) overlay. Where your purchase is processed by a merchant-of-record platform (see Terms of Sale §2), that platform is the seller of record and its own buyer terms and refund/chargeback handling also apply to your purchase and, in some cases, take precedence over this policy. Nothing in this policy removes any right the platform separately grants you.
7. Chargebacks. If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us (or the platform) first — most issues are resolved faster that way than through a bank chargeback. Your right to raise a chargeback with your bank or card issuer is unaffected.
